Elections FAQ

1. Do you have to live in residence to be on the executive?

Yes. In order to be on the executive you must first be a member of the RAUO. Members consist of those who live in residence and pay membership fees towards the RAUO.

2. Do executive members get free rez?

No. As the RAUO must vote on increases in residence fees, it would be a conflict of interest if they were to not pay for residence. However, RAUO executive members do receive honorariums, which are dependent in value on the position.
